The word "Premium" look likes more of a marketing slogan and does not always reflect the quality of the sellers domain names.
In fact many of the domains touted by the sellers as "Premium" are simply GARBAGE!
At this point I realized that the domain resale industry lacked a measuring stick or effective ranking system for English domain names. Something buyers an sellers could use to more accurately determine the true quality of their domains.
Much like a price guide for stamps or baseball cards. Although this would not give a definitive selling price it would certainly make it easier to sort through the Garbage and get to those domains which are TRULY Premium names.
From there I felt the domain market needed to setup a scale to rank english domain names, something people can use to quickly compare domains value and extract the best ones.
This led to the creation of a domain name scoring tool at "DomainsScore.com".
This scoring tool could and should be improved however it gives reasonably accurate results in it's current form.
So I decided it was time someone created a listing site where only TRUE Premium domains were offered for sale.
I realized that someone should be me.
That led to the purchase of PremiumDomain(s).com
Most domain sellers list their domains at several marketplaces in order to maximize exposure.
Some handle all aspects of the sale from forwarding offers to the seller anonymously to handling the escrow services.
Others are simply a resource to put buyers and sellers together allowing them to consumate a deal.
It became clear that we were not interested in managing all aspects of a domain transaction.
We simply wanted to give domain owners and brokers a medium to gain exposure for their premium domains.
And that is exactly what we have done.
How the submission process works?
A seller submits a domain for review at PremiumDomain.com, our proprietary certification system.
In the event the domain is certified as a "Premium Domain" the seller has the option of listing it for sale at PremiumDomains.com
In essence our goal is two fold:
To better help them, we provide the domain score of each name for sale which should be a good indicator of the real name value.
To that end we are aggressively marketing our sites.
